What are the ingredients in your sensory dough?
Playberry Sensory Dough is made with all-natural ingredients. No Nasties! Gently infused with essential oils and natural scents to aid therapeutic and calming play. We only use natural food grade ingredients and those that have all been certified non toxic if accidently ingested.
Our sensory dough is made from Flour, Cornflour, Water, Salt, Coconut Oil, Cream of Tartar, Natural Preservatives and Flavourings, Essential Oils and Natural Plant Dyes from spices, vegetables, flowers and plants.
All Essential Oils are 100% pure and are purchased through reputable companies who do 3rd party testing. The levels of essential oils are ‘Kid-safe’.
How long does your dough last?
Playberry sensory dough will last 3mths+ and can last much longer if kept in the fridge between use and by being played with regularly. Colour and scent may fade after time.
Store in the airtight tin to prevent dryness. If dryness occurs the dough can be revived by a splash of oil or water and re-kneading. If it becomes too wet – just add a dash of flour!
If you find your dough gets salt crystals this is totally normal. Simply play with the dough and they will disappear.
Can I eat your dough?
Even though some of our scents smell delicious, sensory dough is not intended to be eaten. It contains high salt content so is not suitable for digestion. The levels of essential oils are no more than 1ml per kg. All other ingredients are food grade so if someone has a lick or a nibble, don’t panic!
How quickly will I get my order?
At Playberry, we make our dough to order and we aim to dispatch all orders within 7 working days using a courier (usually 3 – 5 day dispatch).
If you need your order by a certain date please email us on hello@playberry.co.uk and we will do our best to meet your deadline.
I made a mistake with my order, can I change it?
We dispatch daily, so providing we haven’t already sent your order, we can definitely adjust it. Please email hello@playberry.co.uk as soon as possible.
What happens if I am not happy with my order?
We check all orders before dispatch but if you are unhappy for any reason with your order please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order.
My child suffers from allergies, can they still play with your dough?
Yes , depending on the allergy!
Our dough is made with 100% natural ingredients and is independently tested to meet UK and EU Toy Safety Standards.

Gluten: Our dough does contain flour.
Nuts, Dairy, Eggs, Soy: Our dough does NOT contain any of these however it is handmade in a facility that handles these items. Whilst the upmost care is taken to prepare our sensory dough in a clean allergy-free environment, cross-contamination could occur.
Essential Oils: Our Sensory Dough contains aromatherapy oils for a sensory experience.We have worked hard to research the ‘safest’ essential oils to use with children to prevent any ill effects if ingested. However, as with any ingredient that is in contact with skin- allergies may occur. If irritation does occur ,we recommend to stop using the dough and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist after washing.
We are VEGAN friendly.
We are cruelty free – no ingredients used are tested on animals.
